Sub: Restructuring of ADD-ON RBD on Domestic Sector for International Fares
At present irrespective of international origin / destination, whenever InternationalTickets are issued on through fares for travel from Interior part of India via it’sGateway Point to International sector or vice versa, and in order to offer benefitsof through check-in & baggage, the ADD-ON RBDs permitted on domestic sectorsare V, Q, K and H.
In order to simplify ADD-ON RBD structure, it has been decided to offer only Q and KRBD, on domestic sector for through pricing purpose. Also these RBDs will beinternational destination / origin specific, the details of which are given below:

The above mentioned amendment will be effective for all ticket issued on or after20th August, 2019.
Any current international booking having add-on domestic sector booked in V/Q/K/HRBD, will auto priced, provided it is ticketed prior 20AUG19. Correspondingly incase of group bookings done prior to 20AUG19, the groups would be honoured withquoted RBD and fares applicable as on the date of advance deposit.
Moreover, the currently applicable Upsell Charges on the Domestic Leg viz. INR350 OW/ 700 RT ex – India (or equivalent Local Foreign Currencies into - India) fromRBD V/Q to K/H will be done away with.
Since only one RBD is available for the Domestic Leg (Either Q or K for therespective International Sectors), the possibility of an upsell does not arise in the firstplace. Thereafter, only the Domestic Add-On Amounts would be added to the Fare,without any surcharge.
Post 20AUG19, if add-on domestic sector booked in RBD other than mentioned inabove table, the same needs to be changed accordingly for auto pricing and ticketing. Please contact Air India for any assistance in this regard.
As far as group (GIT- Ad-hoc & Series) booking concern, post cut-off date domesticadd-on sector will be booked as per details given in table mentioned above.
