Amadeus : Important Message - Information Security

Dear Business Partner,

Amadeus has identified phishing emails being sent to some of our subscribers/users. These e-mails indicate they have

been sent by Amadeus Security Service and have the subject “Authentication” and come from the address

‘noreply @ Amadeus.com’.

These e-mails have not been sent by Amadeus Security Service, and we would urge you to take following urgent measures:
1. All Users - travel agents in particular - should delete the email and in no circumstances open attachments or click on

     links in the email.2. All users are requested to report any suspicious emails to the Amadeus help desk.3. Agencies should run their current anti-virus software in real time mode on all computers.

Urgent measures in case of compromise:
1. Any affected user or travel agency should identify the compromised computer and disconnect its network access.2. Rebuild the computer from scratch, doing a new OS installation.

    Note that cleaning with an anti-virus product does not guarantee that all traces of an infection have been removed.

Please be vigilant about similar attacks. We will provide further information as appropriate.
