Nepal Airlines (RA) Revised Penalties



RA revised penalties for the tickets re-issued and refunded on/after 01 May 2019.


Revised Penalty

Effective: For tickets reissued and refunded on/after 01 May 2019 until further notice.

Specific Conditions:
  1. Date Change- Any time. Date change charge will apply as above table for the respective sectors:
  • A Date change is a date/flight modification.
  • Any difference in fare and taxes also to be charged in addition to the change penalty.
  • Change must be made within the ticket validity.
  • Change fee must be coded as OD in the tax field.
  • Penalties will not apply to infants not occupying seats.
  • When fares are combined the most restrictive conditions apply for the entire journey.
  • Penalty charges are Non-Commissionable and Non Refundable.
  • Applicable GST will be additional.
  • The rules of the country of commencement shall apply irrespective of the point of issue/reissue.

  1. No Show-Any time. No-Show charge will apply as above table for the respective sectors:
  • No Show charge will be applicable if passengers fails to cancel the confirm booking one day prior to the flight date or fails to report at airport or denied to board due to improper documentation and refused by immigration.
  • Change must be made within the ticket validity.
  • No Show fee must be coded as OD in tax field.
  • Penalties will not apply to infants not occupying seats.
  • When fares are combined the most restrictive conditions apply for the entire journey.
  • Date change or cancellation of booking on same day of departure or after departure will be treated as No Show.
  • Penalty charges are Non Commissionable and Non Refundable.
  • Applicable GST will be additional.

  1. Cancellation- Any time. Cancellation charge will apply as above table for the             
respective sectors.
  • Against Without No show: - When a fully unutilized/partially utilized ticket is presented for refund before No-show, applicable cancellation/Refund charge without No-Show charges will apply.

  • Against with No-Show:- When a fully unutilized/partially utilized ticket is presented for refund after No-show applicable cancellation/Refund charge with No-Show charges will apply.
No-Show is considered if passenger fails to cancel the confirm booking one day prior to departure of the flight .If booking is cancelled one day prior to the departure of the flight, proof of booking cancellation must be submitted, otherwise ticket will be considered as No-Show.

  • Partially utilized ticket- Deduct applicable one way carrier fare or half Round Trip carrier fare whichever is higher in the same RBD for the sector utilized plus applicable taxes and cancellation/refund charge and if any balance remains may be refunded.
However, if no one way fare exists for the utilized sector in the same RBD the next higher RBD will apply in addition to the change penalty.
  • Cancellation/Refund for fully or partially unutilized ticket must be submitted within the validity of the ticket. Validity expired ticket submitted for refund shall not be refunded.
  • No Refund for coupon out of sequence.
  • Penalty charges are Non Commissionable and Non Refundable.
  • Penalties will not apply to infant’s not occupying seat.
  • Applicable GST will be additional.
  • Charge may be collected from Base Fare and carrier imposed fees (i.e. YQ and YR).
  • The Rules of country of commencement shall apply irrespective of the point of issue/reissue.
  • Other terms and conditions are as per General Conditions.
